The problem

You're running a business on numbers you don't trust.

Most owners don't have a finance problem. They have a coordination problem. The books, the tax, and the strategy each sit with someone different. By the time you assemble the picture, the moment to act on it is gone.

01
Books that don't match cash reality.

Your bookkeeper closes the month and your bank balance disagrees. By the time you reconcile, the data is too old to use for decisions.

02
Tax surprises, not tax planning.

Your CPA tells you what you owe in April. Not in October, when you could have done something about it. By then you're writing checks, not making moves.

03
No forward view.

You know what happened last quarter. You don't know what cash you'll have in 90 days, whether you can afford the new hire, or what your tax bill will look like at year-end.

04
Three vendors, zero coordination.

Bookkeeper does books. CPA files returns. Maybe a fractional CFO somewhere. None of them talk to each other. You become the integration layer, which means you become the bottleneck.

What's included

One firm. One recurring investment. The finance team you didn't want to build.

No surprise invoices. No handoffs between your bookkeeper, CPA, and CFO. The services below are available through our packages. Your agreed scope depends on your needs and complexity.

a
Monthly bookkeeping & reconciliation

Full transaction coding, bank and credit card reconciliation, accrual or cash basis depending on what you need. Books closed by the 15th of the following month.

b
Business tax return + state filings

Form 1120-S, 1065, or 1120, plus multi-state filings where needed. Filed by your team, not handed off.

c
Owner's personal return (Form 1040)

Coordinated with the business return so K-1 income, owner comp, and personal strategy all line up. No more two firms doing math twice.

d
Tax planning (year-round, not just March)

Strategy sessions through the year, not just at filing. Entity election timing, owner comp, retirement contributions, and major-move tax modeling.

e
Quarterly tax projections

Real projections so you can write the right estimated tax checks. No April surprises, no over-paying just to be safe.

f
13-week cash flow forecasting

Rolling forecast updated monthly. So you know what cash you'll have in 90 days, whether you can afford that hire, and when the next tax payment hits.

g
Owner advisory & strategy sessions

Quarterly conversation about what the numbers are telling you. Margins, pricing, owner comp, growth bets, hiring decisions. We translate.

h
Fractional CFO available when needed

Add-on CFO support for budgeting, scenario planning, financing rounds, or major decisions. You get a CFO when you need one, without paying for one when you don't.

Investment

Clear, predictable investments. Scaled to your size, to the support you need.

Your tier depends on revenue, number of entities, and how much complexity you actually have. We publish our starting investments so the discovery call is about fit, about the support you need.

The investment examples below are typical. Your actual scope is set after your discovery call and any cleanup we need to do up front.

One-time
Tax Blueprint & Initial Strategy Setup

Initial tax review and strategy setup, chart-of-accounts design, entity setup, system connections, and onboarding. The one-time investment for your Tax Blueprint & Initial Strategy Setup is 2 to 4 times your recurring service fee, depending on complexity and setup requirements. Your recurring service fee is billed every four weeks. Prior period catchup and cleanup are scoped and quoted separately.

2 to 4× recurring service fee

Prior period catchup and cleanup

Prior-period catchup brings missing months or years of bookkeeping up to date. Cleanup corrects and reconciles records that have already been entered. Both are scoped separately from the Tax Blueprint & Initial Strategy Setup, with a custom investment based on how far back the work goes, transaction volume, and the condition of your records. We confirm the scope and investment in your proposal.

All recurring investments are billed every four weeks (13 cycles per year). Ongoing service is month-to-month, with no annual commitment. Your final investment is set after your discovery call and books review.

Our guarantee

On-time numbers. On-time filings. Or we eat the difference.

Your books closed by the 15th every month, every month. Tax filings on time, every time. If we miss the 15th, your next billing cycle is free. If we cause an IRS or state late-filing penalty, we cover the penalty and credit you a cycle.

Right fit, wrong fit

We turn down businesses we can't serve well. Here's the filter.

Saying yes to the wrong client hurts both of us. Read this before you book a call.

✓ You're a fit if

Most of these describe your business:

  • Owner-led business between $500K and $10M in revenue. Real revenue, real bookkeeping needs, real tax bills.
  • You're behind on books or don't trust the numbers you have, and you want that fixed.
  • You have multiple revenue streams, locations, or entities (or you're heading that way).
  • You want tax planning year-round, not a tax bill in April.
  • You want one firm handling books, tax, and advisory, not three vendors you have to manage.
  • You're willing to invest in proper financial infrastructure. This won't be the cheapest option you find.
  • You want to know your numbers, not be told "your accountant has it covered."
× We're not the right firm if

Any of these apply:

  • You're pre-revenue or under $500K. A part-time bookkeeper may be a better fit. We'd love you back when you grow.
  • You're a nonprofit. We have a separate offering — see our Nonprofits page.
  • You're an individual without an active business. See our Tax Advisory page.
  • You want to keep your existing CPA and bookkeeper and just add advisory. We sell the bundle, not the layer.
  • You're shopping for the cheapest bookkeeping. We're premium-positioned for a reason.
  • Your operations are primarily outside the US with significant foreign subsidiary complexity. Not our wheelhouse.
  • You want someone to sign returns without doing the work. We won't.
How it works

From first conversation to dependable monthly reporting.

We agree on the scope, required documents, and onboarding timeline before work begins.

01
Discovery call

15 minutes. We understand your business, the current setup, and what's not working. We scope your cleanup work and quote a fixed recurring investment. No pressure to decide on the call.

02
Books and tax assessment

You give us read access to QuickBooks (or Xero) and your last two years of returns. We review the state of your books, identify what needs cleanup, and write you a proposal with your investment and timeline.

03
Blueprint & strategy setup

Chart-of-accounts design, entity setup, and onboarding. Prior period catchup and cleanup are scoped separately. You stay focused on running your business.

04
First monthly close

By the 15th of the following month: full close, owner-ready financials, quarterly tax projection if it's a projection month, and a 13-week cash flow forecast in your inbox. From there, it's a rhythm.

Ready when you are

Run your business on numbers you trust.
