Privacy Policy
Snap Advisory Inc · Effective October 30, 2026
This policy explains how Snap Advisory Inc handles information collected through snapadvisory.com. Client engagements, tax documents, payments, and client portals may be subject to additional notices and professional confidentiality requirements.
Information we collect and why
- Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, company, appointment details, and the message you submit when contacting us or scheduling a call. We use this information to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, communicate about services, and manage our business relationship.
- Website delivery and security: our hosting and infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, receive technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details, timestamps, and security signals to deliver, protect, and monitor the site. Cloudflare may also provide performance measurements without analytics cookies.
- Optional analytics: subject to the location rules and privacy choices below, Google Analytics collects information about visits, pages viewed, referrals, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, and site interactions to help us understand and improve the website.
- Website experience (optional session recordings): subject to the location rules and privacy choices below, Microsoft Clarity collects browsing interactions such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, device information, and session identifiers to create heatmaps and session replays. Clarity masks form inputs. We do not run Google Analytics or Clarity on our inquiry page.
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial information in a general inquiry or scheduling form. Use the secure client upload service for documents we request.
Cookies and your choices
Required features support website delivery, security, and remembering your privacy choice. Our preference cookie, snap_cookie_preferences, records your selected categories, policy version, and the time you saved your choice for up to 180 days. It applies to this domain and its www address.
For visits identified by Cloudflare as originating in the United States, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity start automatically unless a saved preference or detected browser privacy signal disables them. These tools may collect information before you interact with the banner. We do not record automatic activation or continued browsing as your affirmative consent.
For visits outside the United States, or when the location cannot be determined, these tools stay off until you permit their respective categories. Closing the preferences window or continuing to browse does not grant consent. We also leave automatic tracking off if your browser blocks the storage needed to remember an opt-out. Location detection is based on the network connection and may be affected by a VPN or proxy.
Choose Accept all to save a preference allowing both categories, or Customize to choose separately. To opt out, turn off Analytics and Website experience and select Save preferences. Turning one category off does not disable the other.
Google Analytics may use cookies named _ga and _ga_…; Clarity may use _clck and _clsk. These support visitor and session measurement. Our site sends advertising storage and advertising personalization consent as denied.
Use here or in the footer to change your selection. Turning a category off stops future loading of that tool, removes its accessible first-party analytics cookies, and reloads the page if needed to stop already-running scripts. Your opt-out applies going forward. It does not undo collection before your choice, erase information previously received by a provider, or remove cookies on that provider's own domain. You can also use your browser's cookie controls. Clearing cookies or using another browser may require a new choice.
Browser privacy signals: when this site detects Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track value of “1,” it keeps Google Analytics and Clarity off, even if a prior selection allowed them. This does not prevent information needed to deliver the website or information you deliberately send through a form, calendar, or external link.
Providers and external services
We share information with providers that help host and secure our site, measure its use with your permission, process inquiries, schedule appointments, deliver communications, and provide requested services. Providers receive information relevant to those functions. Their own practices are described in their policies:
- Cloudflare (Opens in a new tab): hosting, delivery, security, and website performance.
- Google (Opens in a new tab): Google Analytics under the location rules and choices above, and Google Fonts used to display this website. Font requests transmit technical connection information even when optional analytics is off.
- Microsoft (Opens in a new tab): Clarity heatmaps and session recordings under the location rules and choices above.
- Zoho (Opens in a new tab): our inquiry form.
- Calendly (Opens in a new tab): appointment scheduling.
The Calendly calendar loads automatically on pages that include scheduling, connecting your browser to Calendly without requiring a separate click. The embedded Zoho inquiry form connects to Zoho only when you select the button to load it. These providers receive technical information and information you submit and may use their own cookies. Opening a direct link also connects to the provider. Our optional analytics choices do not control those providers' own websites. Client login, secure upload, payment, map, and other external links are also governed by the relevant provider's notices.
Third-party providers may process information across their services or combine it with information they already hold, as described in their policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to respond to legal proceedings, prevent fraud, or protect people, our services, and our rights.
Email and text communications
Accepting website cookies does not subscribe you to marketing emails or text messages. We use contact details you provide to respond to inquiries and communicate about appointments and services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in those messages.
Text messaging consent is obtained separately from cookie consent. Where you agree to text messages, the notice presented when you sign up describes the messages covered. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages or HELP for assistance. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing services.
We do not sell or rent your inquiry contact information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may process this information to deliver communications on our behalf.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the information, our client relationship, applicable professional and legal recordkeeping requirements, and the settings and retention practices of the providers involved. Cookie expiration and deletion do not necessarily delete information already collected. Contact us with a question about a specific record.
This website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Use our secure upload service rather than public forms for confidential client documents.
Requests and contact
You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We will assess requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal, professional, security, or business purposes.
Call (408) 241-4100, use our contact page, or write to Snap Advisory Inc, 6203 San Ignacio Ave Ste 110, San Jose, CA 95119.
Policy changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change in how information is used, we will provide it before making that change.
