2025 Extension IRS Payment
1. Go to: https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay
2. Click on MAKE A PAYMENT
3. There will be three dropdowns:
| Reason for Payment: | EXTENSION |
| Apply Payment To | 4868 |
| Tax Period for Payment | 2025 |
4. Click Continue
5. This is ONLY for verification purposes. Use 2024 and enter your information from 2024 to verify your identity.
6. Then you can schedule the payment and enter the amount.
7. Finalize
